Niente di nuovo / Nothing new...

Niente di nuovo sul blog. Eppure oggi ho finito tre lavori nuovi!

Ci tenevo a provare diverse opzioni...

Nothing new today, tho I made three different pieces!

The problem is that all those pieces are for a person that could visit this blog, and I don't want her to see them.

So I decided to show something old: these are my first microscope slides. When I made them I thought they were OK, but I didn't know what to do with them. They're usually made to make necklaces, but I never use necklaces...

Then my niece Annalisa came out with an another idea: she took them to hang them on her furnitures handles. And they look great on cherry wood!
The middle one is white cardstock, stamped with a Hero Arts stamp and watercolor markers. The background is actually a foreground, made on the inner part of the glass with Adirondack alcohol inks.

The left one is glossy cardstock and Fluid Chalks and the one on the right has a Fluid Chalks background. The main image is stamped on the inner part of the glass with black StazOn ink and colored with Adirondack markers.

I wanted to try different options!

  2. Ciao Dani,

  4. Wow.. They must be beautiful up against the cherry wood. I was thinking too.. how beautiful they would be tied to sheer curtains with a beautiful ribbon.
