Halloween Special

Ogni anno preparo alcuni "Halloween Special", pacchetti confezionati che contengono tutta la mia produzione dell'anno, uno a testa per le mie Amiche del cuore e per i loro figli.

Sul banner grigio, se guardate bene, ci sono dei meravigliosi teschi (Carabelle Studio "Background Têtes de Mort") stampati in Versamark per un tono su tono che non distragga troppo dalla fustella "trick or treat".

A parte la decorazione del sacchetto nulla di nuovo, ma approfitto di quest'ultima foto per augurarvi un fantastico Halloween. Il mio spero sia tutto un suonar di campanello e risate di bambini!

Every year I prepare a few "Halloween Special", i.e. decorated bags with my entire production, one each for my closest friends and their children.

On the gray banner, if you look closely, you'll see some wonderful skulls (Carabelle Studio "Background Têtes de Mort") stamped in Versamark for a filigree look that doesn't take too much from the "trick or treat" die cut.

Decorated bag aside, nothing new, but I take this chance to wish you a fantastic Halloween. I hope in mine there will be lots of doorbell ringing and laughing children!

Zucche inquietanti - Disturbing Pumpkins

Altri cosini da distribuire: i mini Ritter (sacchetto da 18) sono facili da incartare ed è bastata una fustella di Impronte d'Autore (88257-CML-C Zucche) per renderli un po' più halloweenosi, anche se sono abbastanza convinta che questa parola nemmeno esista.

Dalla foto non si vede bene, ma bocca e occhi delle zucche sono ripassati con lo Spectrum Noir "Sparkle" per renderli un po' più... un po' più. 

Per il picciolo della zucca ho usato polvere da embossing argento in due o tre strati.

Le righe che vedete timbrate in Versafine Onyx Black sono fatte con un timbro di sfondo MFT che si chiama "Thick and Thin", timbrato sul retro de cartoncino che una volta piegato per contenere il cioccolato porta il disegno sul davanti e lascia lo spazio "pulito" per la scritta.

A completare il tutto un vecchio timbro di Papertrey Ink embossato in bianco e un mini banner (fustella Aliexpress).

E con questo la carrellata di progetti di Halloween è quasi finita!

More little things to give away: these mini Ritter square chocolates (bag of 18) are easy to wrap and a pumpkin die was enough to make them more halloweeny (and I'm pretty sure this word doesn't even exist!)

You can's see it well in the picture but mouth and eyes are painted with a Spectrum Noir "Sparkle" brush marker to make them a little more... a little more. For the pumpkin stem I used a few layers of silver embossing powder.

The lines you see under the pumpkin are MFT "Thick and Thin Background" stamped in Versafine Onyx Black on the back of the wrapper that, once folded, brings the design on the lower front, leaving a clean topper for the writing. 

To complete the project an old Papertrey Ink stamp embossed with Hero Arts white powder and a little banner.

And with this my array of Halloween projects is almost over!

Morsi di vampiro - Vampire Bites

Questo è di sicuro il mio progetto più veloce per Halloween di quest'anno, ho finito trentasei di questi cosini da appendere.

Sono veramente piccoli ed in ognuno di loro c'è un mini Mars. 

Sono stati abbastanza semplici da fare: ho tagliato una striscia di carta da 2" x 4.75" (5 x 12 cm) e ho marcato le linee di piegatura. 

Se vi chiedete perché do le misure in pollici ve lo spiego: per fare le pieghe uso una board che ha le linee di scoring ogni ottavo di pollice e il punch che ho usato per tagliare il topper con il foro è di Stampin Up ed è fatto apposta per l'uso con striscie di cartoncino da due pollici esatti.

Anche se non avete il punch che ho usato io potete rifinire il bordo con una fustella o forbici decorative e fare il foro con quello che avete a casa: punches, fustelle, pinze perforatrici... qualsiasi cosa faccia il buco. Certo, se intendete appenderli, altrimenti potete fare a meno di forarli.

Vi metto qui sotto le misure, in caso di vada di farne una versione tutta vostra: i mini Mars costano poco, sono in pacchetti da 18 pezzi e una volta confezionati fanno la loro figura...

This is by far the most quick project I made for this Halloween and I made 36 of these Mini Mars wrappers. 

I plan to hang them from the small curtain rod that I put in the niche I have near my flat's door, right above the cabinet on which I display all my Halloweens goodies, ready to be given away. On the rod I use those silver plastic hooks that are sold to hang Christmas ornaments on the trees.

In case you can find the same bite sized Mars bars I find here (it's a bag with 18 of them) and want to make this quick project I put down here the size of the wrapper and the scores to fold the package. All the scores but the first one on the left are valley folds (the first one is folded the other way so the hanger tab is almost centered and the packages hang more nicely and less crooked).

I shaped the hanger tab using a Stampin Up "Tag Topper Punch".

Gli Striscianti di Halloween - Halloween Creepers

Come potrebbero mancare dei deliziosi serpenti al magico incontro della sera delle zucche?

E poi ogni anno preparo almeno un progetto che abbia un oggetto ricordo che tenga compagnia ai miei trick-or-treaters fino all'anno successivo (quando non vengono sequestrati dalle sorelle maggiori per uso personale, so che è capitato)

Negli anni ci sono stati pendenti a forma di zucchette, dentiere di vampiro, ragni, manine scheletriche ed altre simili delicatezze. 

E quest'anno tocca ai serpenti, anche loro meritano il loro momento di gloria, no? 

Dentro ci sono mini scatoline di Smarties che i miei visitatori più fedeli ricevono sempre con piacere. 

La scritta embossata viene dal vecchissimo set di Papertrey Ink "Spooky Sweets".

How could snakes not make it to the night of the flickering pumpkins?

Every year I prepare at least a project with a souvenir object to keep company to my trick-or-treaters until the next year (when it's not hijacked by an older sister for personal use, I heard it happened in the past).

Thru the years there were charms shaped like pumpkins, vampire teeth, skeleton hands and other similar delicacies.

So this year it's their turn, they too deserve to be in the spotlight once in a while!

Inside the wrapper there are mini boxes of Smarties, that my most faithful trick-or-treaters always appreciate.

The embossed writing is from a very old Papertrey Ink set, "Spooky Sweets".

Le streghe sono tornate - Witches are back

Tremate, tremate... le streghe son tornate! Prendo a prestito uno slogan storico per un progettino che sembrava veloce ma non lo era...

Trenta di questi pacchetti, a parte il taglio e la piegatura della fascetta di copertura, hanno richiesto una timbratura con embossing (scritta) una timbratura semplice (sfondo), 120 fustellate (30 per manico, scopetta, cappello e fascetta rossa...)

Perché ca,,, non mi invento cose più semplici quando devo farne una quantità davvero non lo so...

Ah, il banner a coda di rondine è fatto con il Banner Triple Punch di Stampin Up e il timbro viene da un vecchio set di Papertrey Ink, "Spooky Sweets".

Yes, witches are back (at least for Halloween). 

Because witches are the main protagonists in this little project that I thought was quick and, well, it definitely wasn't...

Thirty of these packages, not mentioning the cutting and scoring of the wrapper, required stamping with embossing (the halloween writing) and plain, simple stamping (the grey background), Then 120 die cuts (30 each of hat, red ribbon, handle and broom).

Why on earth I can't figure out much simpler projects when I know I'm making multiples it's a mystery to me.

Oh, and for the red flag I used a Banner Triple Punch from Stampin Up while the writing is from a very old Papertrey Ink set, "Spooky Sweets".

E' quasi ora!

Ci siamo quasi... parte il conto alla rovescia per Halloween!

Anche se a dire il vero non sono convinta che qualcuno si presenti davvero a suonare il campanello con l'infame virus che ancora gira... 

In ogni caso quest'anno iniziamo con una sanissima zucca (le zucche sono frutti e la frutta fa bene, no?) che nasconde un Chupa Chups. Ah, le piccole gioie del contrabbando 😊

Non vi dico tirare fuori dalla fustella la scritta sottile senza deformarla o strapparla... un incubo! E ne ho fatte una trentina di queste zucche... non finivano più!

Tho, to tell you the truth, I'm not so sure that my doorbell will ring at all, you know, the infamous bug is still around...

This year we begin with a very healthy pumpkin (pumpkins are fruits, and fruits are good, don't you think?) that hides a Chupa Chups lollipop. Yep, the small joy of smuggling...

You can't imagine how I struggled to take out the word from the die without tearing or ruining it: a nightmare! And I made thirty of them buggers!

Altro giro di ATC

Per scaldare i motori in attesa di Halloween, posto l'ultima ATC che ho preparato per l'incontro con le amiche che, causa nota situazione pandemica, abbiamo dovuto rimandare per tanto tempo.

Chiaramente considerata la mia ormai annosa totale pigrizia in fatto di condivisioni elettroniche arrivo con mesi di ritardo rispetto all'occasione...

La parte del leone in questa ATC la fa il set "Layered Cupcake" di Avery Elle che mi sono fatta regalare per il compleanno insieme alle sue fustelle.

E' un po' laboriosa, dato che il solo sbuffo cremoso (il famigerato icing di burro e zucchero a velo che fa istantaneamente schizzare alle stelle colesterolo e glicemia insieme) è composto da cinque diversi timbri. 

Poi ci sono sei timbri a formare la coppetta e la superficie del cupcake.

Ma che spettacolo viste dal vivo... fatemelo dire, è un set stupendo! Per differenziale le ATC, altrimenti identiche, ho optato per colori differenti, ravanando tra i miei molteplici tamponi e tra gli avanzi di cartoncino. Per la versione albicocca non avevo nessun cartoncino ma un avanzo di carta stampata che si accordava bene. 

Ma poi le altre, in cartoncino in tinta unita sembravano un po' più smorte, così ho tirato fuori il timbro di sfondo "Thick and Thin Background" di MFT che ho stampato tono su tono per vivacizzarle un po'.

Per la scritta ho rispolverato la mia vecchia (vecchissima) Dymo manuale che avevo da ragazzina (stiamo parlando di inizio anni 70 dello scorso secolo, ahimé).

Non sarà tecnologica ma non mi dispiace il gusto un po' retro che dà alla minicard!
