Un'altra vecchia ATC che mi è piaciuto particolarmente fare è questa con lo sfondo a stencil sfumato.
La mia idea originale era di fare uno sfondo a righe oblique in colore pieno ma mi sono resa conto che la scritta si sarebbe un po' persa.
Se non ricordo male avevo preparato tre versioni in colore diverso per lo scambio e a me è rimasta quella rosa.
L'immagine in rilievo è stata ritagliata con la mia Scan n Cut, che fa un lavoro egregio nello scannerizzare e ritagliare immagini (e mi fa risparmiare parecchio sulle fustelle coordinate).
In questo caso sarebbe stato problematico farle rilevare su cartoncino bianco, un contorno embossato in bianco perciò ho usato un "intermediario": ho timbrato le immagini in nero, le ho usate per fare creare alla Scan n Cut il file di taglio e poi ho stampato con il Versamark le immagini definitive usando la Misti e il sistema dell'inset centrato.
Per chi non lo conoscesse è un modo efficientissimo per centrare sempre le immagini sul cartoncino ritagliato che funziona sia con le fustelle che con i tagli fatti con macchine elettroniche. Potete vederlo qui in azione su uno dei primi video promozionali della Misti fatti da Sweet Petunia.
E' ancora il mio sistema preferito perché dà sempre ottimi risultati ed è facile timbrare numerosi pezzi consecutivamente, tutti della medesima qualità.
Another old ATC I particularly enjoyed making is this one, with the shaded stenciled background.
My original idea was to use the diagonal stripes in a solid color but I realized that the sentiment would have gone "lost" on a full strength color background.
If I remember well, I prepared three different colored versions for the exchange and I was left with this pink one.
The main image is cut out using my Brother Scan n Cut that usually does a really good job in scanning and cutting images (and saves me a lot of money in coordinating dies).
In this case it would have been a problem having it scan a white line on a white cardstock, so I used a little trick: I stamped the image in black Versafine, used this to create te cutting file with the machine and then used the cutting file on its own and stamped the image using Versamark ink using the "centered inset" technique with my Misti. You can see it here in action in one of the first Sweet Petunia's Misti promo video.
This is my preferred method because it always give perfect results and it's easy to stamp multiple pieces, all with the same quality.
