Compleanno morbido / Soft Birthday

Era un effetto che volevo provare da un po'. A volte mi piace uno sfondo timbrato, ma lo vorrei più morbido e discreto.

Così stavolta ho stampato i fiori (dal set Spunky Nature di My Cute Stamps) nei colori Impress Chocolate e Versacolor Sand e Sage e quando ho finito ho applicato al pannello di sfondo un foglietto di carta da ricalco, di quella che vendono in blocchi per i lavoretti di scuola.

Il risultato è uno sfondo un po' più opaco, ma molto più bello visto dal vivo (la foto non rende giustizia all'effetto).

Ho aggiunto la fascetta stampata con lo sfondo Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain e un bordino ritagliato con il punch scallop. La tag sovrapposta è ritagliata con la Cricut, una forma che ho ridisegnato da una fustella Sizzix e stampata con timbri dal set "Happy Everything" di Stampin Up.

Ho aggiunto all'elenco di download la forma della tag (nel file ci sono due diversi disegni), sotto il nome Curly Labels.



This is a trick I wanted to try: sometimes I make a stamped background, but the ink colors I have are too bright for the look I'm looking for.

So this time after stamping the background (I used stamps from the set Spunky Nature by My Cute Stamps in Chocolate Impress and Sand and Sage Versacolor) I cut and adhered a sheet of tracing paper.

The result is a softer shade of the same colors, and I really like how it turns out (the photo doesn't do justice to the card...)

The brown strip is stamped using the Hero Arts Designer Woodgrain stamp in Chocolate ink. The tag is cut out with my Cricut (I added the cut files to my 4Shared folder under the name "Curly Labels" - SCUT, SVG and PDF as usual) and stamped (SU "Happy Everything" set) in Chocolate and Olive ink.
