L'autunno scorso Tracy Gilmeister mi ha mandato questa bellissima card per halloween, che è di dimensioni standard americane.

Last fall Tracy Gilmeister sent me this wonderful halloween card, that is made in a standard size.

A biglietto chiuso il messaggio interno rimane nascosto in una tasca e scivola poi fuori durante l'apertura.

When the card is closed the inner message is hidden in a pocket, and comes out when you open the card.

Da quel giorno mi sono ripromessa di rifarne una simile, e stasera mi sembrava un buon momento per provarci.

Since then I felt the desire to make one myself, and tonight I thought it was a good moment to try.

Dato che mi piacciono molto i biglietti piccoli, ho voluto provare a ricavarne uno da una striscetta unica, di dimensioni contenute.

I like to make very small cards, that I can use also as gift tags, so I tried to make one using a single strip of cardstock.

Sono partita da un pezzo di cartoncino da 7,5 x 25 cm, perché volevo che il pezzo finito fosse 10x7,5 cm.

I started with a cardstock strip of 7,5 x 25 cm (3" x 9 7/8"), because I wanted my finished piece to be approx. 3" x 4".

E' facilissimo da fare, ed un vero casino da spiegare. Devo fare il foto tutorial anche di questo?


La foto dell'interno ha dato al pezzo una strana deformazione per cui la striscetta marrone interna sembra incollata storta, mentre è perfettamente dritta. Ho controllato perché non ci credevo...

The photo is "distorted", so that the Chocolate Chip strip seems tilted, while it is perfectly straight... I checked it because I couldn't believe it!
